Anglo-Saxons

Any book tagged with this topic is about the history of the Anglo-Saxons or has to do with figures or events that had significant connections with the Anglo-Saxons. The Anglo-Saxons are defined as a cultural group, made up of people living in England in the second half of the first millennium. They were made up of the cultural mixture of the Celtic people native to Britain, and migrating Germanic peoples such as the Angles, Saxons, and Jutes, among others. The Anglo-Saxons ruled independently in England for around five centuries until the Normans invaded in 1066.
